About
History
The Neuse River Valley Model Railroad Club (NRV) was founded by a small group of modelers in 1974. Their initial idea was to create a model railroad that would represent the North Carolina Piedmont and Coastal Plain.
Some 51 years later, today’s NRV has grown far beyond that initial idea. The Club now numbers nearly 100 members and operates six different model railroad layouts (G, O, N, HO, T-Trak, and N gauges) based out of a 3,000 square foot facility at 1615 Old Louisburg Road in Raleigh, NC.
